Mohammad Amer Allaf joined the Nuclear Engineering & Engineering Physics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Associate in 2023. Primary research is exploring advanced nuclear reactor designs and safety mechanisms, namely; for small and micro-scale reactors. Dr. Allaf has experience with multiple codes for simulating neutronics and thermal-hydraulics behaviors. Previous to joining UW-Madison, Dr. Allaf was a Researcher in the Nuclear Professional School at the University of Tokyo, where worked on experimentally investigating the dynamics of microbubbles generated around nano-particles heated by pulsed-laser.
Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and Management, The University of Tokyo.
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Istanbul Technical University.
B.Sc. degree in Nuclear Engineering, Hacettepe University.
